I’m sick. I hate being sick, I really do. Have no patience for it.
Worse of all is the fact that I’m coughing for the first time since I herniated a disk in my back almost a year and a half ago, and then, it killed me every time I coughed… This time… It’s put my back out and I’m having a hard time moving, walking and picking up the kiddies. Especially in the morning. Thank goodness for Aleeve and Tylenol (Advil too).
Last night managed to feel well enough to go to my first Toronto Rock lacrosse game of the season. I have season tickets but the games are lousy times lately – Friday or Saturday nights – so I’ve been giving away or selling my seats, my sister being the beneficiary of 2 games thus far this season. Well, the game was great – Rock came from behind to win 9-7 (9th was in an empty net) and the crowd of just about 14,500 were as noisy and into the game from the get-go. Although I already sold my seats for the next game, I’m looking forward to the game after!!
I need meds and sleep… Not gonna happen.

I had Rock season tickets for the first three seasons. Then I just went to a few games in the fourth season, and it’s too goofy now.
I envy your drug regime. I’m sick but can’t take anything for it. That can be your silver lining – at least you’re not pregnant. Feel better soon.
